February 10th, Dublin, Ireland: KantanMT has announced that it has developed a new interface for its machine translation platform that supports the SAF-T (Standard Audit File for Tax) protocol. The standard is a computer-readable format that ensures an effective transfer of accounting data from the accounting system of a business to the tax authorities that need to assess this data.

SAF-T is a standard for electronic exchange of accounting data from organisations to a national tax authority or external auditors. The standard is defined by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

This new interface will allow KantanMT clients, operating in the Financial Services industry, the ability to machine translate these complex documents and enable them to accelerate the interpretation and filing of multilingual financial information.
